Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control in Chino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor and badge access, and maintain accurate access records. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents.

• DayTime: Mon 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM, Tue 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM, Sat 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM, Sun 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, registering visitors, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate access-related records.
• Observe inbound and outbound traffic, including employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel, and report unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
