Security Officer Access Control

About the role

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Access Control in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control procedures. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of aviation and aerospace facilities, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Complete accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, visitor activity, and other security-related matters.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Preferred qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Pay

$21.00 / Hour

Day time shifts: Monday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Tuesday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Wednesday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Thursday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sunday 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
