Security Officer Access Control

About the role

As a Security Officer Access Control in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies at a retail distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorized entry, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Communicate observations, access-control issues, and incident details to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision in accordance with reporting procedures.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour. Schedule: Wednesday through Sunday, 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM.
