Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Authorization in Mabelvale, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and employees by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and supporting authorized entry and exit activity at the location.
• Monitor entry points, gates, and/or designated access areas to help control site access, document visitor activity, and report unusual or unauthorized activity according to post procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, access points, trailer yards, loading and unloading areas, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Complete required logs, incident reports, and other security-related documentation related to access activity, deliveries, and observed conditions in a timely and professional manner.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
