Job Description

As a Security Officer Entry Authorization in Spindale, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or authorized personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, control authorized access to restricted areas, and help to deter unauthorized entry or prohibited activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observe for unusual conditions or security-related concerns, and report issues according to post orders and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
