Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and maintain accurate access logs to support site access control protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to post orders and location procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, and access-controlled areas to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Communicate with site contacts, delivery drivers, and staff regarding access requests, restricted areas, and security-related concerns while following Allied Universal standards and location expectations.

Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
