About the role
As a Security Guard Part Time Vehicle Patrol Driver in Valhalla, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Food/Beverage and more. This role includes operating a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal policy. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while demonstrating Allied Universal’s values: agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to client personnel, visitors, and/or drivers while carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies at a food and beverage facility.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production or warehouse areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and notification protocols.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and other security-related observations.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- State, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Pay
$19.25 - $20.25 / Hour
Schedule
- Monday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
- Saturday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
