Security Guard Part Time Patrol Driver

As a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Driver) in Wilmington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Government, Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. This driving role includes conducting routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitoring assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at government and chemical or petrochemical locations by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access-control concerns to appropriate site representatives.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Access control and badge experience.
• Alarm panel experience.

Pay

$19.50 / Hour

Schedule

• Friday: 01:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Saturday: 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM
