Security Guard Part Time Patrol Driver

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to riders, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or public officials as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of bus staging areas, passenger waiting areas, facilities, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and assigned transit-related areas, assisting with access control, crowd management, and/or direction of foot traffic during routine operations and special events.
• Report maintenance issues, suspicious activity, and policy violations, and support emergency personnel and/or local authorities during incidents or evacuations.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
