Security Guard Part Time Patrol Driver

About the role
As an Unarmed Security Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Conway, AR, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. You will provide outstanding customer service while communicating professionally with employees and visitors, reflecting Allied Universal’s values: agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and access points; verify credentials as directed by site policies; and document visitor, contractor, and incident information accurately.
- Maintain awareness of changing conditions throughout the location and communicate observations, policy concerns, and/or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Pay
Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour
Schedule
- Tuesday: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
- Wednesday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- Saturday: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
