Security and Emergency Services Manager

About the role

Assume overall responsibility for the safety, security, and well-being of the community.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety inspections, testing, and audits in support of Life Safety and OSHA compliance
• Identify safety/security risks and respond accordingly
• Conduct investigations, document and preserve evidence as required
• Operate company vehicles safely and in accordance with established policies and applicable laws
• Respond to incidents and emergencies of significance and serve as the incident commander until relieved by a higher authority
• Serve as the liaison officer to external first responders

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in public safety leadership (Fire/EMS/Law Enforcement), Emergency Management, or comparable leadership experience
• Current and valid driver’s license
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in an Emergency Responder role
• Emergency Medical Responder Certification (within 6 months of hire)
• Professional Security Certification such as CPP, PSP, or CHPA (preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification
• OSHA 10-Hour certification within 6 months of hire

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License

Skills

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of emergency management and public safety protocols
• Experience with safety and security systems

Pay

Commensurate with experience starting at $80,000.00 per year

Nightly shift, rotating weekends and holidays
