The Seasonal Retail Consultant role sits within a team that values meticulous attention to detail, authentic storytelling and exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers through genuine, personalized conversations and understand their needs
• Craft memorable customer journeys, from warm welcome and engagement to thoughtful product demonstrations and regimen building
• Confidently lead customers to the sink/fragrance area, demonstrating products on the customer’s hand
• Ensure a memorable departure by building lasting relationships, offering full regimens and samples, and inviting customers to return
• Embody Aesop’s values in all actions and seek support for continuous improvement
• Adhere to Aesop’s grooming guidelines and uphold retail standards, delivering the “five senses” experience consistently
• Complete stock, inventory and store presentation tasks

Requirements

• Experience working as part of a customer-focused team, ideally within retail or hospitality
• A merchant mindset that is both customer-focused and commercially driven
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in tactile product demonstrations
• Deep passion for selling premium products and excitement for Aesop’s offerings, including skincare and fragrance
• Physical ability to work on the sales floor for extended periods, walk up and down a flight of stairs and/or ladder as necessary, and lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis

Schedule

This is a contract position with an end date of January 16, 2027. Candidates must be available between November 1 and January 16, 2027; vacation will not be accommodated during this time. Full availability will be required during specific weekend dates.

Pay

Hourly rate of $21.50
