As a Seasonal Retail Consultant, you will introduce and sell our products through genuine and personalized conversations, connecting authentically with customers and delivering unparalleled experiences.

Responsibilities

• Customer Experience: Master storytelling to connect with customers, understand their needs, and recommend products that fit their world. Craft exceptional, personalized customer journeys—from warm welcome and engagement to thoughtful product demonstrations and regimen building.
• Confidently lead customers to the sink/fragrance area using hands, body, and words to demonstrate recommended products on the customer’s hand.
• Ensure a memorable departure by building lasting relationships through attentive service, offering full regimens or samples, and inviting customers to return.
• Embody Aesop’s values in all actions and seek support for continuous improvement.
• Execute Retail Essentials: Adhere to Aesop’s grooming guidelines and uphold retail standards, ensuring the "five senses" experience is consistently delivered.
• Diligently complete stock, inventory, and store presentation tasks.

Requirements

• Experience working as part of a customer-focused team, ideally within retail or hospitality.
• A merchant mindset, both customer-focused and commercially driven.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in tactile product demonstrations.
• A deep passion for selling premium products and excitement for Aesop’s offerings, including skincare and fragrance.
• Physical Environment: Ability to work on the sales floor for extended periods, walk up and down a flight of stairs and/or ladder as necessary, and lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis.

Schedule

This is a contract position with an end date of January 16, 2027. Candidates must be available between November 1 and January 16, 2027. Vacation will not be accommodated during this time. Full availability will be required during specific weekend dates.
