Responsibilities

• Customer Experience:
  • Connect with customers through storytelling, understanding their needs, and aligning products to their world.
  • Craft a personalized customer journey—from warm welcome and engagement to thoughtful product demonstrations and regimen building.
  • Confidently lead customers to the sink/fragrance area, demonstrating recommended products on their hands.
  • Ensure a memorable departure by building lasting relationships through attentive service, offering full regimens or samples, and warmly inviting customers to return.
  • Embody Aesop’s values in every action and seek continuous improvement.
• Execute Retail Essentials:
  • Adhere to Aesop’s grooming guidelines and uphold retail standards to consistently deliver the "five senses" experience.
  • Diligently complete stock, inventory, and store presentation tasks.

Requirements

• Experience working as part of a customer-focused team, ideally within retail or hospitality.
• A merchant mindset—both customer-focused and commercially driven.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in tactile product demonstrations.
• A deep passion for selling premium products and excitement for Aesop’s offerings, including skincare and fragrance.
• Ability to work on the sales floor for extended periods, walk up and down a flight of stairs and/or ladder as necessary, and lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis.

Schedule

Flexible availability required, with mandatory weekend work. This is a contract position ending January 16, 2027. Candidates must be available November 1–January 16, 2027; vacation will not be accommodated during this period. Full availability will be required during specific weekend dates.
