Overview

This role involves providing direct and indirect patient care in a clinical setting, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. The nurse utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate care to assess, plan, and deliver appropriate treatments, including medication administration and patient education. Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication management, and addressing psychosocial needs. The role emphasizes patient safety, cost-effective practice, and continuous professional development.

Key Duties

• Perform accurate patient assessments based on condition.
• Administer prescribed medications and provide age-appropriate care.
• Develop and evaluate patient and family teaching plans.
• Assist physicians with procedures and perform technical skills.
• Identify and address psychosocial needs, coordinating with social services.
• Promote safety and minimize risks during care delivery.
• Prioritize patient needs efficiently and effectively.
• Engage in lifelong learning to enhance nursing practice.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Computer literacy.
• RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Preferred certifications include ACLS/PALS.
