Role Overview Provides direct and indirect patient care in assigned settings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes. Utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate care to promote patient health, dignity, and autonomy. Performs general nursing duties, patient education, and prioritization. Key Responsibilities Conducts accurate patient assessments based on medical condition.Administers medications as prescribed and provides appropriate care for age-specific needs.Develops and evaluates patient and family teaching plans.Performs treatments, assists with procedures, and communicates effectively with team members.Addresses psychosocial needs, coordinating with social services for discharge planning.Uses resources efficiently, promoting safety and reducing waste.Prioritizes patient care tasks and maintains a focus on safety and quality.Engages in ongoing professional development and lifelong learning. Qualifications & Skills Minimum 2 years’ experience in current or related specialty area.Graduate of an accredited nursing program.Computer literacy required; additional certifications like BLS, ACLS, or PALS preferred.Licensed as an RN; BLS certification required within 14 days of hire.
