Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) - MedSurg

About the Role

This nursing position involves providing direct and indirect patient care in a clinical setting. You will collaborate with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. The role requires critical thinking, application of nursing processes, and compassionate care to promote health, preserve patient dignity, and support autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients accurately based on their condition.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Provide age-appropriate care and self-care activities.
• Develop and evaluate patient and family education plans.
• Perform treatments and support multidisciplinary communication.
• Assist with procedures requiring technical skills.
• Address psychosocial needs and coordinate with social services.
• Practice cost-efficient resource management.
• Prioritize patient care effectively and promote safety.
• Engage in lifelong learning to advance nursing skills.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in the relevant area.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Computer literacy.
• RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as ACLS/PALS.
