The Seasonal Chef Instructor at Sur La Table is responsible for teaching cooking classes to customers in a fun and engaging manner. This position requires a passion for food and a strong culinary background.
Responsibilities
- Teach cooking classes to customers
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed
- Engage customers in interactive cooking experiences
- Adapt lessons to meet the needs and skill levels of different groups
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of professional cooking experience
- Valid Food Handler’s Permit
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for sharing knowledge about cooking and food
- Experience with group instruction and customer service
Skills
