The Seasonal Chef Instructor at Sur La Table is responsible for teaching cooking classes to customers in a fun and engaging manner. This role requires a passion for food and a strong culinary background.

Responsibilities

  • Teach cooking classes to customers
  • Engage with customers to provide personalized cooking experiences
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed during class demonstrations
  • Prepare and maintain a clean and organized kitchen area

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional cooking experience
  • Valid Food Handler’s Permit
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of various cuisines and ingredients

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
