About the role
The Seasonal Chef Instructor at Sur La Table will be responsible for teaching cooking classes to customers in a fun and engaging manner. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for sharing culinary knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Teach cooking classes to customers
- Engage with customers to provide personalized cooking experiences
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during class demonstrations
- Prepare and maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of professional cooking experience
- Valid Food Handler’s Permit
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for teaching and sharing culinary knowledge
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
