About the role

The Seasonal Chef Instructor will teach cooking classes at Sur La Table stores in the Columbus, OH area. This is a part-time, on-site position.

Responsibilities

  • Teach cooking classes to customers
  • Prepare and present recipes
  • Engage with customers to provide guidance and feedback
  • Ensure food safety and quality standards are met

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of professional kitchen experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Valid Food Handler Certification

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills
  • Passion for teaching and sharing culinary knowledge
  • Experience with group instruction and customer service
