The Seasonal Chef Instructor at Sur La Table will be responsible for teaching cooking classes to customers in a fun and engaging manner. This position offers an opportunity to share your culinary expertise and passion for food.

Responsibilities

• Teach cooking classes to customers in a friendly and informative way
• Ensure all recipes are prepared and presented safely and hygienically
• Engage with customers to provide personalized recommendations and answer questions about ingredients and techniques
• Adapt lesson plans based on customer feedback and class size

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of professional cooking experience
• Experience teaching cooking classes or working in a similar role
• Valid Food Handler’s Permit

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for food and teaching others

Skills

• Knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques
