The Seasonal Chef Instructor at Sur La Table will be responsible for teaching cooking classes to customers in a fun and engaging manner. This role requires a passion for food and a strong culinary background.
Responsibilities
- Teach cooking classes to customers
- Engage customers in interactive cooking experiences
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during class
- Adapt recipes to accommodate different dietary needs
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of professional cooking experience
- Valid Food Handler’s Permit
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Experience with group instruction and customer service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Skills
- Knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in the kitchen
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
