About the role

The Seasonal Chef Instructor at Sur La Table will be responsible for teaching cooking classes to customers in a fun and engaging manner. This position is part-time and on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Teach cooking classes to customers
  • Engage and interact with customers during class
  • Ensure safety and quality of all cooking demonstrations
  • Adapt lesson plans based on customer feedback and preferences

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of professional cooking experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for food and teaching
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple classes simultaneously

Skills

  • Proficiency in a variety of cooking techniques
