About the role
The Seasonal Chef Instructor at Sur La Table is responsible for teaching cooking classes to customers in a fun and engaging manner. This position offers an opportunity to share your culinary expertise while supporting our mission of inspiring people to cook delicious meals.
Responsibilities
- Teach cooking classes to customers, focusing on various cuisines and techniques.
- Prepare and present recipes in a clear and concise manner.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during class demonstrations.
- Engage with customers to provide personalized cooking tips and suggestions.
- Adapt lesson plans based on customer feedback and class size.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of professional cooking experience.
- Experience teaching cooking classes or similar educational roles.
- Valid food handler’s permit.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
