About the role

The School Staff Nurse provides comprehensive health services to students within a school district, ensuring their physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs are met.

Responsibilities

• Delivering clinical care such as routine, special needs, and emergency first aid
• Maintaining student health records
• Participating in educational initiatives
• Communicating effectively with management, parents, school authorities, and healthcare teams
• Adhering to departmental, school, state, and federal policies and guidelines
• Demonstrating appropriate knowledge and skills for diverse student needs
• Participating in other duties as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) or must be obtained within five years
• RN licensure
• BLS certification
• 1-2 years of healthcare experience, preferably in pediatric or school settings
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams
• Proficiency in MS Office

This is an onsite position with a minimal FTE allocation.
