About the role

The School Staff Nurse provides comprehensive health services to students within a school setting, ensuring their physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs are met.

Responsibilities

• Delivering clinical care such as routine, special needs, and emergency first aid
• Maintaining accurate student health records
• Participating in educational initiatives
• Communicating effectively with management, parents, school authorities, and healthcare team members

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent within five years
• RN licensure
• BLS certification
• 1-2 years of healthcare experience, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team (preferred)

Skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications

Schedule

• Onsite, PRN position
• Hours vary within 30 miles of home
• Minimal on-call responsibilities
