About the role

The School Staff Nurse provides essential health services to students, including routine care, emergency first aid, and management of special needs. The role involves maintaining accurate health records, delivering clinical care, and participating in educational initiatives within the department. Effective communication with management, parents, school authorities, and healthcare teams is vital. The position requires demonstrating knowledge and skills to address the physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs of students of all ages, while ensuring compliance with departmental, school, state, federal, and HR policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate health records

Requirements

• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) or completion within five years
• RN licensure
• BLS certification

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of healthcare experience, preferably in pediatric or school settings
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams

• Technical skills in MS Office
