About the role
School Food Service Kitchen Manager needed for food service program in the Citrus Park/West Tampa, FL area.
Responsibilities
- Oversee kitchen operation on a daily basis.
- Ensure all menu items are based on the guidelines of the NSLP (Serving, food preparation).
- Observe that quality and food safety procedures are being followed at all times.
- Ensure personal protective equipment is in use at all times.
- Prepare inventories and month‑end paperwork.
- Oversee kitchen staff and staffing needs.
Qualifications
- School Food Service experience required.
- ServSafe® certification a plus.
- Must be able to obtain the proper documentation to work in schools.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, day shift. No weekends or holidays. Summers off.
