School Food Service Manager

Food Service Manager needed for a school food service program in Lebanon Township, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cafeteria operations on a daily basis.
• Ensure quality and food‑safety procedures are followed according to NSLP guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Ensure personal protective equipment is used at all times.
• Prepare inventories and month‑end paperwork.
• Handle ordering of supplies.
• Operate POS/cash register systems.
• Oversee cafeteria staff and manage staffing needs.

Requirements

• ServSafe® certification is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced team environment.
• Ability to obtain the proper documentation to work in schools.
• Food preparation and cooking experience.
• POS/cashier experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, day shift 6.5 hours daily. No weekends, holidays, and summers off.
