About the Role
We are seeking a School Food Service Kitchen Manager for our food service program in the Citrus Park/West Tampa, FL area.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, day shift
- No weekends or holidays
- Summers off
Responsibilities
- Oversee kitchen operations on a daily basis
- Ensure all menu items adhere to the guidelines of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP)
- Supervise food preparation and serving
- Monitor compliance with quality and food safety procedures at all times
- Ensure personal protection equipment is in use at all times
- Prepare inventories and month-end paperwork
- Oversee kitchen staff and staffing needs
Requirements
- School Food Service experience required
- ServSafe® certification is a plus
- Must be able to obtain proper documentation to work in schools
