Their Dealer Management Solution (DMS) supports dealerships in optimizing business operations such as Sales, Parts, Service, Rentals, Payments, Accounting, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). The platform integrates with over 500 partners including Original Equipment Manufacturers and aftermarket distributors, serving more than 4,500 dealers across North America with tools designed to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.

About the Opportunity

The Salesforce Administrator will play a critical technical role by designing, building, and maintaining custom Salesforce solutions that support various departments including Revenue Operations, Customer Success, Finance, and Product. This role involves both development and system ownership responsibilities to ensure the Salesforce environment operates effectively, enabling the organization to improve customer experiences, manage subscription and contract lifecycles, and support operational growth.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, and Aura components.
  • Build and maintain scalable automation using Flow Builder, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules.
  • Participate in Agile development cycles including sprint planning, code reviews, and release management.
  • Implement and manage deployment pipelines using Salesforce DX, GitHub, and CI/CD tools like Copado or Gearset.
  • Maintain test coverage and manage sandbox environments.
  • Oversee Salesforce org operations including user setup, security configurations, and role hierarchy.
  • Maintain and update page layouts, custom objects, record types, validation rules, and sharing settings.
  • Conduct performance audits, security reviews, data quality checks, and enforce data governance.
  • Stay updated with Salesforce releases and implement necessary updates.
  • Document all configurations, customizations, integrations, and architectural decisions.
  • Manage Salesforce integration architecture ensuring reliable data flow with connected systems such as NetSuite, Certinia, NICE CXOne, DocuSign, Conga Composer, and others.
  • Evaluate and install third-party AppExchange applications.
  • Build and maintain REST/SOAP API integrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship on Salesforce best practices.
  • Support end-user training and adoption efforts.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of Salesforce development and administration experience in a fast-paced SaaS or technology environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ or Revenue Cloud.
  • Active Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer I certifications.
  • Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
  • Experience with Salesforce DX, Git, and source-driven development workflows.
  • Ability to design and build REST/SOAP API integrations.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Security Model and data modeling.
  • Experience with Salesforce CI/CD tools such as Copado or Gearset.
  • Strong problem-solving, prioritization, project management, communication, and collaboration skills.

Pay Range and Compensation Package

The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
