Sales Relationship Manager, Advisor Services

About the role

Schwab Advisor Services, the industry leader of custodial, operational, trading, product, and technology solutions for independent fee-based investment advisors (RIAs), is seeking an innovative, results-driven individual to serve as a Relationship Manager, AS Centralized Relationship Management.

Responsibilities

• Build and deepen relationships with advisor clients, acting as their primary point of contact
• Partner closely with internal teams (service, marketing, consulting, and product) to deliver seamless solutions and anticipate client needs
• Identify opportunities to drive client growth, improve efficiency, and increase assets and revenue
• Lead business reviews, present strategic recommendations, and guide clients through new offerings or policy changes
• Influence outcomes through effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving
• Strengthen Schwab’s position as a trusted, long-term partner in each client’s success

Requirements

• Active FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses
• 5+ years of experience in financial services, ideally supporting RIAs or in a relationship management role
• Proven ability to build trust and influence clients at multiple levels
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to identify opportunities, solve problems independently, and drive results

• Working knowledge of the RIA industry, including operations, technology, and practice management
• Experience navigating complex client needs and coordinating across cross-functional teams
