Sales Operations Manager (Remote)
About the role
This role is responsible for managing the sales forecasting process, building and maintaining dashboards and reports, analyzing sales performance metrics, pipeline health, and forecast accuracy. The individual will support annual planning, including territory design and quota setting, and will also be involved in planning and readiness, channel operations, operational excellence, sales process optimization, thought leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end management of the sales forecasting process including data analysis and recommendations to sales leadership.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Salesforce and other Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
- Analyze sales performance metrics, pipeline health and forecast accuracy.
- Integrate operational insights from multiple domains to advise leadership.
- Support Annual Planning including territory design and quota setting within the Splunk Americas Sales and Partner organizations.
- Analyze partner demand generation, analyzing pipeline health, velocity, and conversion to hit quarterly targets.
- Establish and monitor rigorous SLAs and KPIs to ensure organizational accountability and alignment.
- Establish strong operating cadence to drive consistency and predictability throughout the sales organization.
- Streamline the end-to-end sales process to eliminate bottlenecks and increase productivity using AI, automation, Salesforce and reporting systems.
- Act as a trusted advisor to sales and partner leaders on GTM Strategy and decisions including sales coverage, capacity, plays and tactics across all teams in Splunk.
- Work closely with sales, channel, marketing, finance, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on strategy, messaging and go-to-market initiatives.
Requirements
Experience: 3+ years in Sales Operations, Business Operations or a relevant function. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field. Technical Skills: High proficiency with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce), advanced excel skills and experience with BI Tools (e.g. Tableau).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into action.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay
The starting salary range posted for this position is $113,000.00 to $142,400.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation*, equity, or benefits. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training.
