Sales Estimator

Due to continued growth, we are seeking 2 experienced Sales Estimators to join our team based in Derrimut. About the role

As a Sales Estimator, you will play a critical role in preparing accurate and timely sales estimates that support our customers' home-building journey from initial contract through to construction.

Responsibilities

• Preparing accurate sales estimates for tenders and contracts across a range of single and double-storey home designs
• Obtaining quotations and pricing for customer variations and upgrades
• Preparing and presenting tender documentation
• Reviewing plans, engineering, and supporting documentation to ensure estimate accuracy
• Conducting quality assurance checks on all estimating documentation
• Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression
• Identifying opportunities to improve estimating accuracy and efficiency
• Supporting customers and internal teams with technical and pricing queries
• Maintaining a strong focus on accuracy, turnaround times, and customer outcomes

Requirements

• Must have experience in a Sales Estimating role within the residential building industry
• Strong understanding of residential construction methods, terminology, and costs
• Sound knowledge of ResCode, the National Construction Code, and Victorian building requirements
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, engineering plans, and supporting documentation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly
• A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to a high-performing team environment

Experience working in a volume home-building environment will be highly regarded.
