Sales Estimator

Due to continued growth, we are seeking 2 experienced Sales Estimators to join our team based in Derrimut. About the role
As a Sales Estimator, you will play a critical role in preparing accurate and timely sales estimates that support our customers' home-building journey from initial contract through to construction.
Responsibilities
- Preparing accurate sales estimates for tenders and contracts across a range of single and double-storey home designs
- Obtaining quotations and pricing for customer variations and upgrades
- Preparing and presenting tender documentation
- Reviewing plans, engineering, and supporting documentation to ensure estimate accuracy
- Conducting quality assurance checks on all estimating documentation
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression
- Identifying opportunities to improve estimating accuracy and efficiency
- Supporting customers and internal teams with technical and pricing queries
- Maintaining a strong focus on accuracy, turnaround times, and customer outcomes
Requirements
- Must have experience in a Sales Estimating role within the residential building industry
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods, terminology, and costs
- Sound knowledge of ResCode, the National Construction Code, and Victorian building requirements
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, engineering plans, and supporting documentation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly
- A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to a high-performing team environment
Experience working in a volume home-building environment will be highly regarded.
