The Sales Director - Financial Services - Capital Markets role at Accenture is dedicated to driving business growth through the successful creation of positive impacts. This role involves shaping, selling, and closing large deals that are single or multi-service, ensuring profitable sales growth by leading opportunities from qualification to deal close.
Responsibilities
- Create solutions to complex technology business problems requiring in-depth knowledge of client buyer needs.
- Interact with senior client stakeholders and Accenture leadership to shape and drive strategic pursuits. Define pursuit strategies, develop compelling client messaging, and build trusted executive relationships.
- Bring differentiated, industry-leading perspectives leveraging AI-enabled capabilities across technology strategy, data and AI, application development and management, and infrastructure services.
- Utilize strong proficiency in cloud and AI platforms to shape and deliver scalable, business-driven solutions.
- Operate within large teams and direct specific team sales activities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in selling capital market opportunities.
- Minimum of 8 years’ Sales Pursuit Management experience.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in direct sales with quota preferably in excess of $10M+.
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience selling financial services opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years of work experience).
Qualifications
- Experience working within G2000 customers.
- Experience with C-Level client relationship building and relationship management.
- Proven ability to operate within a team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated commitment, teamwork, and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian.
- High energy level, focus, and ability to work well in demanding client environments.
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.

As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
Schedule
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 25 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
