Sales Director, East
The Role
Lead a combined team of SLED and Enterprise sellers in the Eastern US to grow an account base of both existing and new.
Based remotely in any major city on the East Coast of the US.

Opportunity
Develop strong vision and understanding of Dataminr's US SLED and enterprise business and strategic goals.
Plan, implement, and execute on sales strategy, leveraging market knowledge and experience to convey product value proposition and positioning.
Motivate, develop, and drive a team of sellers and cultivate a performance-based culture built on providing value to public sector organizations.
Develop and maintain high-level relationships with key prospective customers and organizational leaders.
Lead client mission and operational processes, identifying ways to integrate Dataminr into our clients' workflows and recommending best practices.
Coach sellers through complex sales and take a consultative approach to selling.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of proven enterprise software/SaaS sales experience with at least 4 years of experience leading teams selling to and directly supporting SLED and/or enterprise accounts.
- Knowledge of cyber security sales a plus.
- Extensive experience successfully selling into complex public sector entities with a strong track record of negotiation and closing with a deep understanding of sales process and business drivers for public sector clients.
- Proven success as a sales leader in high-growth technology companies.
- Proven experience of successfully driving cybersecurity growth.
