Sales Development Representative - Automotive
Position Overview
Affinitiv is seeking a dynamic Sales Development Representative to join our award-winning team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the automotive industry and eager to improve the customer/dealer experience.
About the Role
You will be responsible for identifying and engaging with dealership prospects, setting up meetings for our field sales team, and creating a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify inbound and outbound leads across dealer groups and OEM-approved dealerships
- Engage dealership leaders via phone, email, LinkedIn, and texting
- Conduct high-impact discovery to uncover pain points related to digital marketing, service lane performance, retention, and vehicle acquisition
- Book demos and create qualified opportunities for District Sales Managers and Account Executives
- Maintain accurate CRM records in Salesforce and meet weekly activity/pipeline KPIs
- Example targets: 60–80 outbound touches/day, 5+ booked demos/week, consistent monthly pipeline creation
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, DSMs, and Sales Leadership on campaigns and territory strategies
- Represent Affinitiv professionally when communicating with prospects, partners, and OEM-aligned programs
Requirements
- 1–3 years of SDR, BDR, or inside sales experience (SaaS or automotive dealership tech preferred)
- Strong communication, resilience, and ability to break through gatekeepers
- CRM experience (Salesforce preferred), plus exposure to Outreach, ZoomInfo, HubSpot, or similar tools
- Self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced quota environment
- Passion for the automotive industry and improving the customer/dealer experience
