Sales and Marketing Manager

About the role

Vogel Tool & Die manufactures tools used to create products you encounter every day. After over 30 years, we need to replace our sales manager with a friendly, talented individual to continue Vogel's success. Vogel has been in business for 90+ years. Manor Tool has been in business for over 65 years. No outside sales, work from our comfortable headquarters, near expressways and public transportation. We are a small business without layers of management to interfere with day-to-day tasks.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and emails with inquiries about our tools
• Help educate potential customers about how our tools can produce the parts they need
• Provide quotes for standard and custom-built tools
• Enter orders, create shipping documents, invoice completed orders
• Process credit cards, maintain spreadsheets and reports
• Provide customer service and troubleshoot problems with tools
• Maintain our website and marketing programs
• Set up and work 1 – 2 trade shows per year (out of state, typically 5 – 6 days)

Requirements

• A minimum of two years of college or relevant work experience

Skills

• Basic mathematical skills
• Patience and the ability to explain and educate
• Excellent reading and writing skills
• Ability to pass our company ISO, English, and Math assessments
• Social media savvy is a big plus
• Bilingual, English / Spanish is a huge plus
