Sales Account Manager - Southwest USA
About the role
The Sales Account Manager will act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of direct buying customers, primarily characterized as Service or Partner accounts. The focus for this role will be Semiconductor and Semiconductor Equipment, Aerospace & Defence, and Data Centers. You will be responsible for growing revenue and profitability while delivering an excellent customer experience aligned to defined service levels.
Responsibilities
- Own and grow revenue and profitability for a portfolio of direct buying customer accounts
- Build strong, long-term customer relationships as the main commercial point of contact
- Deliver timely, high-quality account support aligned to customer characterization and revenue thresholds
- Identify opportunities to improve the overall customer experience and coordinate solutions with internal teams
- Work closely with internal cross-functional teams to help industrialize new production, introduce new products, and identify opportunities to grow market share
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sales Account Manager, Account Manager, Business Development Manager or similar commercial role
- Plastics background/industry experience
- Strong customer relationship management and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability
- Experience using CRM systems to manage pipeline and account activity
- Able to work cross-functionally in a global, matrix organization
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- We would prefer the successful candidate to be a member of a recognized commercial or sales institute
