SA4409 Associate Optometrist - Jacksonville, FL - Target Optical

About the role

An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with Target Optical (Luxottica) seeks an Associate Optometrist. You will work within the practice of a Target Optical Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor.

Responsibilities

- Provide high quality optometric care and service to patients. - Work within the practice of a Subleasing Doctor, operating under the terms of agreement, practice model, pay, and hours negotiated directly between you and the Subleasing Doctor. - Enjoy professional autonomy to care for patients. - Have full scope of practice based on your professional discretion and agreement with the Subleasing Doctor. - Offer flexible scheduling options, including part-time commitments or adding work to an existing practice schedule. - Work in a fully furnished office equipped with a full suite of OD equipment. - Some offices may offer use of the Revolution EHR software and have tech and pre-testing support. - Utilize an automated online appointment booking and patient recall system.

Requirements

- Hold a current license to practice optometry in Florida. - Possess a strong understanding of ophthalmic practices and procedures. - Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Be able to work independently and as part of a team. - Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to ethical standards.

Qualifications

- Completion of an accredited optometry program. - Experience in providing comprehensive eye care services. - Strong clinical skills and knowledge of ocular health. - Ability to manage a busy practice and maintain patient records.
