About the role

An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with Target Optical (Luxottica) seeks an Associate Optometrist. You will work within the practice of a Target Optical Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor.

Responsibilities

- Provide high quality optometric care and service to patients. - Work within the practice of a Target Optical Subleasing Optometrist. - Operate under the professional autonomy to care for patients. - Negotiate terms of agreement, practice model, pay, and hours directly with the Subleasing Doctor. - Enjoy flexible scheduling options including part-time commitments or adding work to an existing practice schedule. - Work in a fully furnished office equipped with a full suite of OD equipment. - Some offices may offer use of the Revolution EHR software and have tech and pre-testing support. - Benefit from an automated online appointment book and patient recall system.

Requirements

- Hold an active license to practice optometry in Florida. - Possess a strong background in optometry and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. - Have experience working in an independent practice setting. - Be willing to negotiate terms of agreement, practice model, pay, and hours directly with the Subleasing Doctor.

Qualifications

- Completion of an accredited optometry program. - Current Florida Optometry License. - Experience in an independent practice setting preferred.

Skills

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to manage a busy practice and maintain professional autonomy. - Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) software.

Pay

- Compensation is determined by multiple factors including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. - You may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
