About the role

An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with Target Optical (Luxottica) seeks an Associate Optometrist. You will work within the practice of a Target Optical Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor.

Responsibilities

- Provide high quality optometric care and service to patients. - Work within the practice of a Subleasing Doctor. - Negotiate terms of agreement, practice model, pay, and hours directly with the Subleasing Doctor. - Enjoy professional autonomy to care for patients. - Operate under full scope of practice based on professional discretion and agreement with the Subleasing Doctor. - Have flexible scheduling options including part-time commitments or adding work to an existing practice schedule. - Work in a fully furnished office equipped with a full suite of OD equipment. - Some offices may offer use of the Revolution EHR software and have tech and pre-testing support. - Utilize an automated online appointment booking and patient recall system.

Requirements

- Hold an active license as an Independent Doctor of Optometry. - Possess a strong background in optometric care and service. - Be willing to negotiate terms of agreement, practice model, pay, and hours directly with the Subleasing Doctor. - Maintain professional autonomy and full scope of practice. - Be open to flexible scheduling options. - Have access to a fully furnished office equipped with necessary OD equipment. - Be familiar with using the Revolution EHR software and automated appointment booking system.

Qualifications

- Completion of an accredited optometry program. - Current license to practice optometry. - Experience in providing comprehensive optometric care. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
