About the role

An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with Target Optical (Luxottica) seeks an Associate Optometrist. You will work within the practice of a Target Optical Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor.

Responsibilities

• Work within the practice of a Target Optical Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor.
• Operate the Doctors office and provide high quality optometric care and service to patients.
• Operate under the professional autonomy to care for patients.
• Operate with full scope of practice predicated only on your professional discretion and agreement with the Subleasing Doctor (no company imposed restrictions or quotas to meet).
• Flexible scheduling available including part-time commitments or the option to add work to an existing practice schedule.
• Work in a fully furnished office with a full suite of OD equipment.
• Some offices may offer use of the Revolution EHR software and have tech and pre-testing support.
• Automated on-line appointment book and patient recall system.

Requirements

• Must be an Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with Target Optical (Luxottica).
• Must operate the Doctors office and provide high quality optometric care and service to patients.
• Must operate under the professional autonomy to care for patients.

• Must be able to operate an automated on-line appointment book and patient recall system.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid State License to practice Optometry.
• Must have completed residency training in Optometry.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an Optometrist.
• Must have a strong understanding of medical and pharmaceutical terminology.
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a passion for providing quality eye care services.

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of optometric practices.
• Ability to manage a busy schedule and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
