About the role
An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with Target Optical (Luxottica) seeks an Associate Optometrist. You will work within the practice of a Target Optical Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor.
Responsibilities
- Work within the practice of a Target Optical Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor.
- Operate the Doctors office and provide high quality optometric care and service to patients.
- Operate under the professional autonomy to care for patients.
- Operate with full scope of practice predicated only on your professional discretion and agreement with the Subleasing Doctor (no company imposed restrictions or quotas to meet).
- Flexible scheduling available including part-time commitments or the option to add work to an existing practice schedule.
- Work in a fully furnished office with a full suite of OD equipment.
- Some offices may offer use of the Revolution EHR software and have tech and pre-testing support.
- Automated on-line appointment book and patient recall system.
Requirements
- Must be an Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with Target Optical (Luxottica).
- Must operate the Doctors office and provide high quality optometric care and service to patients.

Qualifications
- Must hold a valid State License to practice Optometry.
- Must have completed residency training in Optometry.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an Optometrist.
- Must have a strong understanding of medical and pharmaceutical terminology.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have a passion for providing quality eye care services.

- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of optometric practices.
- Ability to manage a busy schedule and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
