About the role

The Route Coverage Specialist is a vital service role responsible for covering delivery routes when Route Service Representatives (RSRs) are unavailable, ensuring seamless customer service.

Responsibilities

• Learn and deliver multiple routes: Gain proficiency in customer-specific details to provide top-tier service.
• Deliver and collect garments: Safely load, transport, and unload products, ensuring timely and accurate service.
• Customer service & problem-solving: Support strong relationships through positive interactions and independently resolve customer requests.
• Operational tasks: Manage invoices, conduct inventory audits, and maintain vehicle safety and appearance.
• Safety adherence: Follow traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies.
• Route support & collaboration: Assist with new account setups, rerouting, collections, and upselling, while sharing feedback with leadership.
• Effective communication: Relay customer feedback and monitor local market activity.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable transportation, and meeting DOT requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior customer service or delivery experience is a plus.
• Comfortable with technology, physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., and able to remain on feet for extended periods.
• Strong customer service orientation, adaptability, and teamwork skills.
