Responsibilities
- Locate leaks and perform professional-quality roof repairs safely and efficiently while treating customers and colleagues with respect
- Complete defined-scope projects and preventive maintenance activities
- Demonstrate knowledge of all roof systems (BUR, Modified Bitumen, EPDM, TPO/PVC Membranes, Tile, Shingles, Coatings, Metal Roofs, etc.)
- Make independent decisions on repair methods and leak resolution
- Use company apps and portals for check-ins and documentation
- Handle all customer paperwork and communications
- Assess weather conditions to determine safe roof access
- Coordinate with General Contractors on larger projects
- Communicate findings and recommendations to customers
- Maintain and operate company-issued equipment (vehicles, power tools, phones, hand tools, etc.)
- Keep trucks fully stocked, clean, and organized
- Apply industry-standard, manufacturer-approved repair techniques
- Complete daily assignments and submit required paperwork on time
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial roofing experience
- High School Diploma or GED preferred (not required)
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and agility tests
- Comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 ft tall
- Ability to lift 100+ lbs
- Capable of bending, kneeling, and working in extreme weather conditions (hot/cold)
- Ability to pass government background checks as required by projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of basic roofing tools
Working Conditions
- Full-time, onsite role
- Exposure to contaminants, hazardous conditions, and equipment
- Work in very hot (above 90°F) or very cold (below 32°F) temperatures
- Requires high accuracy and adherence to strict deadlines
- Team-based environment with responsibility for health and safety of others
- Wear common protective or safety equipment (e.g., PPE)
- Subject to random drug and alcohol testing per company and regulatory requirements
