About the role

You will help troubleshoot and maintain robotic cells, cobots, PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, and machine vision systems while documenting incidents and improving uptime and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot robot and PLC faults using structured diagnostics, logs, and alarms
• Perform preventive maintenance on robots, end-effectors, conveyors, and auxiliary equipment
• Calibrate sensors, encoders, and vision systems to meet quality targets
• Validate safety systems (e-stops, interlocks, light curtains) and follow LOTO procedures
• Support commissioning tasks (I/O checkout, homing routines, cycle verification)
• Document incidents, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and configuration changes
• Coordinate remotely with site staff and engineering to resolve incidents and reduce downtime

Requirements

• Mid-Senior experience in robotics/automation/maintenance technician work supporting industrial robotics
• Hands-on troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control systems
• Ability to read electrical schematics and interpret PLC/robot diagnostics
• Working knowledge of industrial safety standards and safe maintenance practices
• Strong documentation and remote collaboration skills

Pay

$30–$50 per hour (base salary), depending on scope and experience.
