Robotics Technician Jobs

About the role

Support modern warehouse robotics and automation operations by monitoring fleet health, guiding diagnostics, coordinating maintenance, and driving reliability improvements across AMRs, conveyors/sortation, sensor networks, and PLC-integrated cells.

Responsibilities

• Monitor robotics dashboards/logs; triage incidents by safety, downtime impact, and SLAs
• Diagnose faults across mechanical, electrical, and software-adjacent layers (motors, encoders, sensors, batteries, networking, PLC signals, HMI alarms)
• Create/refine SOPs, troubleshooting trees, and escalation paths for recurring issues
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, and vendors for preventive maintenance scheduling
• Track work orders, parts usage, and repair history in CMMS; maintain accurate records
• Perform RCA and implement CAPA to reduce repeat incidents and improve uptime
• Support change control/commissioning for new cells, updates, and layout changes with verification
• Promote safety compliance (EHS, lockout/tagout guidance) and safe robotic operations

Requirements

• Mid-Senior experience in warehouse robotics, automation, or industrial maintenance
• Electromechanical troubleshooting across sensors/actuators, motors, belts, wiring, power distribution
• Working familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment, HMI alarms, and basic I/O concepts
• CMMS experience and strong documentation habits
• Clear communication and disciplined adherence to SOPs and safety requirements

Pay

Hourly base pay range: $30–$50/hr (USD). Compensation may vary based on experience, location, and scope.
