What You Will Do

  • Design, implement, and maintain robotics software modules for perception, localization, mapping, planning, and control
  • Create ROS2 nodes, define message interfaces, and integrate cameras, LiDAR, IMU, GNSS, and wheel odometry for sensor fusion
  • Contribute to SLAM pipelines, motion planning, obstacle avoidance, and trajectory tracking
  • Create simulation scenarios, run regression suites, and perform hardware-in-the-loop tests to validate behavior
  • Analyze logs, tune parameters, fix real-time performance bottlenecks, and improve reliability across deployments
  • Collaborate with hardware, QA, and product teams to translate requirements into safe, testable, production-ready features

Required Qualifications

  • Mid-Senior experience delivering robotics/autonomy software in production or research-to-production environments
  • Strong C++ and Python skills, including debugging, profiling, and performance optimization
  • PRACTICAL ROS2 experience (node design, tf2, launch systems, message definitions)
  • Familiarity with SLAM, localization, sensor fusion, and navigation concepts
  • Ability to work remotely with clear written communication and reproducible engineering practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Gazebo or similar simulation environments and log-based evaluation
  • Exposure to computer vision (OpenCV) and point cloud processing (PCL)
  • Familiarity with real-time constraints, Linux on embedded/edge platforms, and containerization

Remote Work

This role is explicitly Remote and FULL_TIME, with expectations for consistent delivery, code reviews, and collaborative engineering practices in a distributed team.
