Robotics Jobs Campinas (Remote, Full-Time) Rex.zone is hiring a Mid-Senior robotics engineer to design, implement, and validate production-ready autonomy software across perception, localization/mapping (SLAM), planning, and control. You will work in a distributed team using shared simulation environments, logs, and CI-based validation to deliver reliable robotics systems. Responsibilities Build and maintain ROS2 nodes for perception, localization, planning, and controlDevelop SLAM and state estimation modules using multi-sensor fusion (EKF/UKF)Implement motion planning and trajectory optimization under kinematic/dynamic constraintsCreate simulation-first workflows (Gazebo/Isaac) with scenario coverage and regression suitesTune controllers (PID/MPC) to improve stability, tracking error, and energy efficiencyEstablish telemetry, data capture, labeling/ground-truth alignment, and evaluation metricsDiagnose field issues using logs, bag files, and profiling; propose corrective actionsDocument interfaces, assumptions, and safety boundaries; enforce standards and reviews Required Qualifications Mid-Senior experience delivering robotics/autonomous systems in production or advanced R&DStrong C++ and Python with clean architecture, testing discipline, and performance awarenessHands-on ROS2 (or deep ROS1 with migration experience), TF, URDF, and navigation conceptsPractical understanding of SLAM, state estimation, and sensor fusion for mobile robotsExperience with motion planning and collision checkingFamiliarity with camera/LiDAR perception, calibration, and time synchronization Preferred Qualifications Embedded/real-time constraints and hardware-in-the-loop validationSafety engineering exposure (fault detection, redundancy, constraints, risk analysis)Deploying perception models (detection/segmentation) on edge devicesLinux tooling, containers, and CI for robotics builds/releases How To Apply Apply on Rex.zone with a resume and concise evidence of shipped robotics systems or impactful prototypes (links to repos, demos, publications, or technical write-ups when available).
